  • I know very little about the Pacific theatre, but thanks to your comment, I've spent about the last 2 hours reading countless wiki pages about the battles of coral sea and Midway and can't believe how much punishment she endured. Then to have the two torpedo strikes just as it looked like she might have been saved, must have been devastating for the surviving crew.
